Oxfordshire Lib Dem By-Election Success

Oxfordshire Liberal Democrats were last night celebrating success in Grove & Wantage after holding the County seat convincingly. The full results were:
- Jenny Hannaby Lib Dem 1901
- Bill Melotti Conservative 1786
- Jean Nunn-Price Labour 382
The by-election was called after the death of Liberal Democrat Councillor Jim Moley, who died in January at age 70.
Leader of the Oxfordshire Liberal Democrat Group, and fellow Grove & Wantage Councillor, Zoé Patrick said, "I am absolutely delighted to welcome Jenny Hannaby to the County Council. She has a strong track record of working hard for the community and she will make a real difference both locally and here at County Hall."
