Villagers living near the M40 are being let down by the Highways Agency, says Lib Dem Campaigner Stephen Kearney.
"The M40 through South Oxfordshire does not meet modern standards for noise prevention. Thousands of local residents are affected by the noise," says Stephen.
"There are straight-forward solutions that could make a real impact. Measures such as fitting modern noise reduction barriers on stretches near local villages and quiet carriageway surfaces would make a real difference.
"This would not be a huge cost in the context of the Highways Agency budget - we just need the will to be there."
