Kearney: Keep Woodcote Green clean

Woodcote village green is a focal point for the community and the local Lib Dems want to keep it that way. Vandalism continues to be a problem in and around Woodcote Green with public seating and the Youth Shelter having been targeted recently.
"Residents have told me the village green is often a hub of activity and it's always great to see the local football and cricket team in action. We must ensure the green remains and clean and safe area for villagers." said Lib Dem Campaigner Stephen Kearney.
"Local people having been telling us that they think the Conservatives have under invested in youth services in South Oxfordshire" said Cllr Robin Peirce.
We can report that local community support officers have now agreed to make sure they are a more visible presence in order to deter would be vandals.
