From www.thamenews.net: Now that the date for the Henley and Thame by-election will take place on Thursday June 26, now is the time to make sure you are on the register to vote, and to apply for a postal or proxy vote if you will be away or unable to vote in person.
All eligible voters need to make sure they have returned their registration forms to South Oxfordshire District Council by midnight on June 11.
Forms are available for download from the web site at http://www.southoxon.gov.uk/ or by calling 0800 389 5560. Registering is particularly important for anyone who has recently moved home. If eligible voters do NOT register at their new address, they risk falling off the electoral register.
