Stephen Kearney and local Lib Dem activists Margaret Bretherton and husband Cllr David Bretherton are determined that Thame Cattle Market should be protected by a move to a bigger and better site.

Thame Liberal Democrats strongly support finding a new home for the Cattle Market, and want to ensure that the current site is used for a range of community facilities, not just another large supermarket.

Margaret Bretherton explained:

"Our Cattle Market needs a new home - the current site isn't big enough and an increase in traffic would cause problems through the town.

"We also want to make sure that the site is put to good use after the Market's gone. Thame badly needs the kind of community facilities found in similar towns. It must not end up as a supermarket."
